 | The Ministry of Education and Human Resources is responsible for the whole education sector, from the Pre-primary to the Tertiary. Education is free at the primary and secondary levels, partly subsidized at the pre-primary level and highly subsidized in general at the tertiary level. The objective of the Ministry is to make education compulsory up to the age of 16 and to increase access to tertiary education substantially by the year 2005, and to promote the concept of lifelong education. |
