International Trade and Regional Cooperation

 

Following the creation of the World Trade Organisation in 1995 and the increasing importance of regional trading arrangements and global trade rules, the International Trade Division and the Regional Cooperation Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Regional Cooperation have been created to be responsible for trade policy formulation, elaboration of negotiating position for Mauritius and monitoring trade development at multilateral and regional levels.
